Instagram keeps changing as we speak. New features, new ways to communicate with your friends and clients. Since Instagram Stories came out they have changed the game on instagram particularly, and on the social media in general. The stories brought something new to the field, something fresh, in the moment experience.
There are some great easy features you can use in the stories to create more engagement in your account.
Add location
You can add location to your stories in a few different ways. First of course, tag where you at. That way all the users in the area can get to you if they are interested in lifestyle and business in your location. Another way is to tag a location specific to a potential targeted audience that you are interested in. The point is, you don’t have to be present in the place to tag it and be expose to those users.
For instance, let’s say that you have a business in Los Angeles and I’m visiting in Los Angeles. When I will look on the explorer “Los Angeles” I might run into your story and would like to pay a visit at your store.
Add @ Mention

Swipe Up / Link in Bio
Even though not every business has reached the 10k to be able to do the “swipe up” feature, there are other ways to reach the some goal.
First everyone who has that feature of swipe up, please don’t forget to use it! Its an easy way to simply ask your audience to go check your new post on your blog or your new arrivals.
The one who hasn’t reached that feature yet, here is what you can do. Post a story with a direct Call To Action to go your bio and check that new thing you’ve just launch. Before that put the right URL at your bio, and you got it.
Either way, don’t hesitate to ask your followers directly what you want them to do.
