Four Free Tools for Easily Designing Images for Social Media

Looking for easy ways to use professional graphing tools to help you design your photos?

In this article you will discover four free tools for creating images for your marketing purposes.

1: Preview text using Adobe Spark

Adobe Spark is part of Adobe’s creative suite used for creating images and videos on social media websites. It is easy to use for editing images on the web and offers a number of great design templates to choose from. Here’s how to use Adobe Spark:

First, go to Adobe Spark and enter your Adobe password.

You do not need a subscription to use the site, but if you already have a subscription, you will receive additional features. Once you’ve connected, you’ll see a variety of templates to choose from. Adobe Spark displays popular templates on the home screen, but you can also search for more types of templates. After you’ve found an appropriate template, select it.

Most templates have pre-images and text boxes. You can resize, drag, and reposition the elements of your design, as needed.

Editing text requires double-clicking the text box and starting to type. Switch between font, color, and size easily using tabs on the side. You can also click the “Shape” tab on the left side of the screen in order to select the shape you want the text to be. This will automatically apply to your image.

Alternatively, you can use Spark’s built-in motion tool to change the font and shape.

If you want to change the background of the template, the action is simple: double-click. You will then be prompted to upload a new image and apply an Instagram-style filter to the background. Note that the current background will be replaced.

When your photo is ready, click the “Share” button at the top of the screen to add it to your social media. You can also send it by e-mail by clicking on the “Download” button on the left.
