Facebook has recently launcheed Business Suite – a new mobile app that allows managing content on Instagram, Facebook, and Messanger. The app will replace Facebook’s previous mobile apps Pages and Creator Studio and is meant to become your new go-to tool to manage your business pages and Instagram profiles. It was designed with small businesses in mind and is intended to allow them to post content and communicate with customers across channels in one place.
From what we’ve seen from the Business Suite, it’s is not very different from other Facebook tools, but it may simplify the content publishing process. It also may be simpler to operate than working with the Facebook App or the Creator Studio from your desktop.
Here are some of the things you can do with it:
Post Across Channels
Post the same content to Facebook and Instagram with one click. This is also possible through Instagram itself or through the Creator Studio but made more seamless by the new app.
See all your messages in one place
The business suite’s most significant innovation is a unified inbox that brings together all the messages you have on Instagram and Facebook in one list. Some speculate that in the future, the app will also include messages from your business Whatsapp account.
Adjust settings
With the app, you Easily access the settings for each of your pages and adjust them from your mobile.
View ads
The new app shows all the ads running on behalf of your page, just like in the “ad center” on the desktop version. It also includes a way to create ads that seems similar to the “boost post” option. At this point, we don’t advise you to use the interface, as we don’t know how effective it is.
Learn from Insights
One of the app’s significant advantages is the possibility to see insights about posts activity and account growth from Instagram and Facebook side by side. This way, you can contrast and compare your results on both channels in one glance. Unfortunately, the amount of metrics available is quite limited, and what’s even worse, you can only view data for the last 30 days.
How to get the Facebook Business Suite App?
The app is available to download for Android or iPhone. If you are already using the Facebook Pages app, it will be automatically replaced with the Suite next time you update it.
Bottom Line
The Facebook Business Suite app is worth a try for those managing several Facebook pages and Instagram profiles. It’s especially recommended for small business owners who get a lot of messages from their customers. However, we don’t expect this app to replace other Facebook interfaces or become a solution for the difficulties social media managers face with Facebook’s app.
